[Common] An error message saying “Unsupported encoding settings” appears when playing a video.
While using GOM Lab products, an error message such as “Unsupported encoding settings” may appear when playing a video.
This error is not caused by GOM Lab products, but by Microsoft Windows Media Player.
Please follow the steps below.
In the Windows search bar at the bottom of the screen:
[Settings] > [Apps] > [Installed apps] > Search for “Media Player” in the app search field >
Click the more options button on the right > [Advanced options] > Under Reset, click [Reset].
Once the process is complete, the video should play normally.
