First, we would like to guide you through the correct setup process for using the “AI Speech Recognition Subtitle Generation” feature in GOM Player+2024.

[GOM Player+2024 Launch > Press the “F11” shortcut key to open the AI Speech Recognition Caption Generation menu > Set the save path for “Speech Recognition AI (Faster-Whisper)” at the top > Select speech recognition quality > Set subtitle save path > Click “Generate Subtitles”.]

• In order to generate AI speech recognition subtitles, the “Faster-Whisper” engine file must first be downloaded. Subtitle generation will become available after the download is completed.
• To download the “Faster-Whisper” engine for AI subtitle generation:
  Launch GOM Player+2024 > Open a video file > Press the keyboard shortcut (F11) > Open the AI Speech Recognition Subtitle Generation menu > Set the save path for Speech Recognition AI (Faster-Whisper) > Set the subtitle save path > Click the “Generate Subtitles” button > Click the displayed “Download Faster-Whisper” button.

If the AI speech recognition subtitle generation continues to fail, please follow the steps below and try generating subtitles again.

1. Download the GOM64.ZIP compressed file from the link below and extract it.

2. After extraction is complete, copy the executable file (GOM64.exe) from the extracted folder and overwrite it in the GOM Player+2024 installation folder.

• If you did not change the installation path during setup, the default installation path is as follows:
  Installation path:
  C:\Program Files\GOM\GOMPlayer+2024

3. Launch GOM Player+2024, open a video file, and try generating AI speech recognition subtitles again.
