GOM Encoder

In some cases, when you start the program, it might shut down immediately after displaying an error message.

1. Such problem might occur if you run GOM Encoder while playing some games.
It seems that some protection programs used by certain games recognize GOM Encoder as virus code. Currently, for a temporary fix, start GOM Encoder first then start the game to use it normally. We will contact the developers to solve the problem.

2. We haven’t figured out the exact reason but the problem has been happening to systems that have not installed SP2 for Windows XP. 
If you don’t install SP2, your computer will be exposed to virus threats so please install the service pack from the following link and we will do our best to fix this problem.

If you cannot install the service pack at the moment, like the picture below, from the folder where GOM Encoder is installed (C:\Program Files\GRETECH\GomEncoder), select ‘run with this account’ or run the program as Administrator to start the program.
