TrueSpeech Codec

  • Codec Description
  • It is possible to play files encoded with TrueSpeech Codec.
  • The playback of the media which is encoded with TrueSpeech Codec requires the ffdshow codec.

  • Setting Method
    1. Please first try downloading FFDSHOW codec from the link below: http://sourceforge.net/projects/ffdshow-tryout/files/
    2. Go to Windows Start Menu, select "ffdshow" and open the "Audio decoder configuration".
    3. Under the "Format" column, find and click on "TrueSpeech", then change the Decoder from "disabled" to "libavcodec".
    4. Click "Apply" button and close the window.
