  • Codec Description
  • It is possible to play files encoded with GMP4.
  • Please follow the steps in the Setting Method in order to play files encoded with GMP4 Codec.

  • Setting Method
    1. Please first try downloading GeoCodecReg.exe from the link below: http://www.geovision.com.tw/english/5_8.asp#
    2. Once you go to the site, you'll see a drop down menu under "IP Camera", select "Other Utilities" and you'll find "Video Codec".
    3. Click the "Download" button and follow the directions to download. After downloading, un-zip the downloaded file, you can find GeoCodecReg.exe in the folder.
    4. After installing GeoCodecReg.exe, please try playing your files again.
