Apple Lossless Audio Codec, ALAC

  • Codec Description
  • It is possible to play files encoded with ALAC.
  • The playback of the media which is encoded with ALAC Codec requires the LAV Filters.

  • Setting Method
    1. Please first try downloading LAV filters from the link below: https://github.com/Nevcairiel/LAVFilters/releases (Click "LAVFilters-0.70.2-Installer.exe" to download.)
    2. Launch GOM Media Player.
    3. Press F5 to open the preferences window.
    4. Select "Filter" on the left column and then select "Disable Filters" tab on the top.
    5. Under "Disabled Filter List", find "LAV Audio Decoder" and please uncheck the boxes next to both of them.
    6. Close the preferences window.
