AGM

  • Codec Description
  • It is possible to play files encoded with AGM.
  • Please follow the steps in the Setting Method in order to play files encoded with AGM Codec.

  • Setting Method
    1. Please first try downloading AGDRec_122F.zip from the link below: http://t-ishii.la.coocan.jp/download/AGDRec.html
    2. Once you go to the site, please find "ダウンロード", select it and follow the directions to download.
    3. After downloading, un-zip the downloaded "AGDRec_122F.zip" file, you can find the "AGMDecoder" folder.
    4. Open the folder and install "AGMDecoder.msi".


    Now, please try setting the "AGM Video Decompressor" to the highest priority in GOM Media Player:

    1. Launch GOM Media Player
    2. Open the Preferences window (push [F5])
    3. Select "Filter" from the list on the left
    4. Go to the "Advanced Settings" tab
    5. Under "Filter Rendering Method", select "Advanced: Customize filter priority."
    6. After completing step 5, the [Add Filter] button becomes active. Click the [Add Filter] button.
    7. On the list of filters that appears, find and select "AGM Video Decompressor", then click the OK button.
    8. "AGM Video Decompressor" should now appear on the Filter Priority list. Select "AGM Video Decompressor", and then select "Highest" (under the Condition heading on the right side of the window).
    9. Close the preferences window and try to play the file again.
