When Windows Media source filter is used, some people have experience choppy video playback especially for high definition videos.

Please go to Preferences-Filter-Filter and choose either "Automatically select source filter" or "Use WM ASF Reader." Windows Media source filter has a bug that can result in choppy video playback.
